Research

Reconstruction of avalanche activity in the Upper Goms Valley over the past 500 years using tree-rings records and historical archives.

Climatic and environmental impacts of large volcanic eruptions. Quantifying the cooling induced by past volcanic events at regional and hemispherical scales, using tree rings, historical and ice core records.
